My Training and Me


I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. With my knowledge, we co-create completely personalized actions based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources. I specialize in working with medium-aged women because womens' health has always been a passion of mine and I 'get it' because I've been there...I'm STILL there! 

 


      Like many of you, I’ve played many roles during my lifetime: that of biology and health teacher, sex education consultant, small business owner, volunteer, wife, mom, and friend.  Throughout those years, my interests have encompassed the areas of nutrition, human reproductive health, and alternative healing modalities (such as homeopathy, aromatherapy and herbal remedies). I’ve had the life experiences of becoming a mom at age 41, managing menopause symptoms naturally, struggling with sleep issues, working on maintaining a weight loss and exercise routine, all while trying to create a balance between the different aspects of my life. I can't wait to help you with your health and wellness challenges, drawing on my life experiences and training to make sure you succeed with your goals!

     My certification through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition has given me a way to merge what I’ve learned from the program with the roles, interests and experiences of my life. To me, being a health coach is not just a career; it is a calling and I’m excited to help you become the best and healthiest YOU possible! I truly believe we have the answers to most of our health and wellness questions within ourselves, often locked up somewhere in the story of who we are and where we have come from. We just need someone to listen, help us clarify our goals, offer direction and provide support along the way. I look forward to hearing your story and helping you on your own, personal wellness journey!

My education has equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention.
